Qingming painting means lightness and wisdom. "Qingming" is one of the 24 solar terms in the summer calendar. In China, there are customs of offering sacrifices to ancestors, sweeping graves and going for an outing on Qingming Day, which gradually evolved into a traditional China festival in which Chinese people commemorate their ancestors by sweeping graves and worshipping. In addition, there are many poems with the theme of "Qingming", the most famous of which is the four-line Qingming written by Du Mu, a poet in the Tang Dynasty.
