Tangshan Locomotive & Rolling Stock Factory of CNR is affiliated to China North Locomotive & Rolling Stock Industry Group, and it is one of the main bases for repairing and repairing railway rolling stock products in China. Founded in 1881, the factory is the earliest railway factory in China. It is famous at home and abroad for manufacturing the first steam locomotive "China Rocket" and the first bus "Luanyu Dragon Car" in China.

The factory consists of four major business divisions, namely, newly-built buses, overhauled locomotives, overhauled buses and parts manufacturing, among which newly-built buses are the core business. It is located in Fengrun District of Tangshan City and lunan district City, where three business divisions, namely, newly built passenger cars, overhauled locomotives and parts manufacturing, are located in Fengrun District of Tangshan City, with a factory area of 1.238 million square meters. The Bus Maintenance Division is located in lunan district, Tangshan City, with a factory area of 381,111 square meters, which ranks first in the domestic industry in terms of effective utilization area and has a large development space.

the newly-built passenger car division is mainly engaged in the manufacture of railway passenger cars, diesel and emus, tilting trains, various official vehicles and special vehicles, urban rail transit vehicles and meter-gauge passenger cars. In order to further improve the core competitiveness, the factory has invested heavily in large-scale technical transformation, introduced a large number of internationally advanced technology and equipment, and formed three production lines of carbon steel/aluminum alloy/stainless steel car bodies, a complete production line of bogies, an assembly line of railway passenger cars and an assembly line of special vehicles mainly assembled by EMUs and urban rail vehicles. All types of equipment have reached the international advanced level, and the test and inspection methods are complete, with an annual capacity of 1,111 new passenger cars.

The Bus Maintenance Division has a high-level bus maintenance capability, which can overhaul and transform various types and varieties of railway buses, such as generator cars, special vehicles and senior official vehicles, with an annual capacity of 611 buses, and sufficient space and capacity to expand the process layout for the maintenance of high-speed emus.

the parts manufacturing division mainly undertakes the production of various cold and hot processed products. Casting, forging, heat treatment and various mechanical processing equipment are excellent and complete. The rolling stock products of the factory are exported to the United States, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, North Korea, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and other countries.

Factory-built repair machines and bus products are spread all over China in Harbin, Shenyang, Hohhot, Lanzhou, Urumqi, Beijing, Zhengzhou, Jinan, Shanghai, Chengdu, Kunming, Nanchang, Liuzhou, Guangzhou, Taiyuan, Xi 'an, Wuhan, Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company and Luggage Company in 19 railway bureaus (group companies). At the same time, the machine and bus products have also been awarded Jinwen and Zhangquan.

The factory has more than 6,111 sets of modern equipment, and more than 1,111 senior and middle-level technicians and managers. It has an annual production capacity of 1,111 buses (including 311 aluminum alloy emus), 181 locomotives and 611 buses.
