When people mention Anhui now, they mainly think of the mountains and rivers in southern Anhui, Huizhou folk houses and several scientific and educational places in Hefei. First of all, the development models of all provinces in China give priority to the development of provincial capitals, so it goes without saying that resources are tilted. Therefore, after the change of the status of the provincial capital, Anhui's position in the country was not high, so Anqing can naturally get less development. Secondly, after the change of the provincial capital, the development focus of the leadership must be poor and white Hefei, which leads to the poor and white provincial capital in the minds of previous teams. Coupled with the strength of Nanjing, Jiangsu next door, Hefei has a stronger desire to catch up! The concept of giving priority to the development of Hefei is unlikely to change in the short term, so the decline of other cities is only a matter of time.

On the contrary, the current development level of seven counties has caught up with and surpassed the urban areas in recent years!

Firstly, the provincial capital moved out, taking away all the cultural, industrial and economic resources, leaving nothing for Anqing; Secondly, Anhui people should know that Anhui concentrates the efforts of the whole province to develop Hefei, revitalize northern Anhui and restrict Anqing. Finally, I think that if it is the only provincial capital in the world, it will never move, then Anqing's development will definitely be stronger than Hefei's.

Anqing's "Five Tigers of the Yangtze River" is often said by Anqing people, but it is basically not circulated outside. We ordinary people can't understand the decline. We only think that there are petrochemical companies in Ximen. Why can't these polluting enterprises be placed in Ximen later? Why are there polluting enterprises in every district? I want to at least leave us a beautiful, barely livable east gate, which is much more comfortable than now. I remember that there was a big taxpayer named Changjiang Tobacco Factory in the early days of liberation in Anqing. It wasn't long before Hefei took it away. The Beijing-Kowloon Railway crossed the Jiujiang River because of the historically unfinished railway bridge piles on the Jiujiang River.
