Baijia Courtyard is located in the famous "Lejia Garden" in Suzhou Street, Haidian District, Beijing. It is a garden-style restaurant in Qing Dynasty featuring palace cuisine, official cuisine and its own style of Baifu cuisine.
The garden where the restaurant is located was built by the descendants of Dai Xi, the second son of the Qing emperor Nurhachi, during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. Prince Li Garden is the first pro-Wangfu Garden built in the west of Beijing. In 2111, Beijing Baijia Courtyard Catering Co., Ltd., based on the principle of respecting history, restoring its original appearance, and giving equal attention to protection and development, invested heavily in the large-scale renovation of Prince Li's Garden, and re-presented this historic garden to the world. The compound covers an area of about 3,111 square meters, with 36 large and small private rooms, including 17 VIP rooms, 19 ordinary private rooms, a large multifunctional banquet hall and two small banquet halls. Now it has more than 311 employees and can accommodate 711 people at the same time.
When you pass by here during the meal, you will surely see attendants in ancient costumes and so-called maids welcoming guests.
The tableware is very unique, which makes it feel like a palace, and it is heavy to use. Dishes with better style than taste seem to be suitable for business banquets, especially for foreign guests.
On the way from the entrance to the seat, there are men and women dressed in Qing Dynasty costumes everywhere. When they meet people, they bow and shout good luck, as if they had entered the shooting scene of a costume TV series.
The Palace Dim Sum is a platter, which consists of kidney rolls and pea yellow, and there are three vivid little dough figurines on the platter.
Braised deer tendon was originally thought to be a challenge to poor teeth, but it turned out to be very chewy.
grasping fried shrimp balls and grasping fried fish fillets are sweet and sour. Feizixiao is made from petals of roses, carnations and chrysanthemums. It is so colorful that people feel that it is not edible and tastes slightly sweet and sour.
After eating, it's time to turn on the lights. Walking around the yard at will, I saw some scattered seats randomly placed around the yard, among the trees, at the sound of the pool, with cups and discs, which was a very pleasant dinner.
