What are the characteristics and types of tents?

Abstract: Tent house, also known as European tent, is a kind of mobile building, which is mainly used in wedding banquets, outdoor exhibitions, celebrations, disaster relief and other occasions, and has the characteristics of flexibility, convenience, safety and stability, and wide application. According to different shapes, tents can be divided into three types: A-shaped, spire and dome. The construction of the tent house is very complicated, and it needs many people to build it together through the steps of positioning the bottom plate of the column, placing parts, installing related nodes, and erecting gables. Tents are used for outdoor exhibitions or wedding banquets. Pay attention to the selection of venues and the determination of sizes. Let's take a look at the tents! What is a tent

A tent is a new type of temporary building for outdoor activities, which originated in Europe. It is also called a European tent, and it is called a "mobile property" because of its light storage and transportation. It is widely used in temporary warehouses, factories, temporary construction, exhibition tents, construction tents and emergency relief. Tent room is a brand-new concept to the international people, and it has only gradually appeared in people's daily outdoor activities in recent years. It consists of a basic movable frame and a tarpaulin. The frame is generally made of alloy and steel, which is convenient to store and has the characteristics of small size.

What are the characteristics of a tent?

1. Flexibility and convenience

Easy installation and disassembly, free site selection, and can be built in different environments.

2, safe and stable

aluminum alloy frame, steel parts connection, PVC tarpaulin high-frequency welding, fixed base, super mechanical properties.

3. Perfect service

Follow up the service before, during and after the sale, and feedback and solve the problems at the first time.

4. Personal satisfaction

Personalized tents can be designed and produced according to requirements, with elegant appearance, and corresponding supporting facilities (hard wall, high partition, top curtain, side curtain, floor, furniture, lighting, air conditioning, mobile toilet, European fence)

5. It is widely used in commercial exhibitions, festivals, restaurants, entertainment and logistics.

what types of tents are there

There are many types of tents, which can be divided into three types according to their different shapes:

1. A-shaped tents

A-shaped tents, also known as movable tents, have the largest span and are widely used, and can be used from outdoor commercial promotion to large-scale exhibitions.

2. The spire tent

has a square bottom and an elegant appearance like a spire.

3. Spherical tent

The dome is called "the most powerful, lightest and most effective design". Using a rigid and robust structure, you can temporarily hang lights and audio equipment to decorate and fill your activity space.

4. There is also a kind of tent that combines the characteristics of A-shaped tent and spire tent.

How to build a tent

1. Positioning the column bottom plate

First, determine the ground level of the installation site, then position the bottom plate, and then determine the positions of the four bottom plates before measuring whether the diagonal distance is equal. If it is not equal, it must be repositioned, and it must be a rectangle instead of a parallelogram. After positioning, fix the column bottom plate at the corresponding four positions, and position and fix the other bottom plates in the length direction in the same way.

2. Place the components

Place the columns, corner joints, inclined beam A section, inclined beam B section (note that two inclined beams are required for those with a span of more than 14m), inclined beam receivers (for connecting inclined beam A section and inclined beam B section, there is no such component for those with a span of less than 14m), and place the top nodes well, so that all components form a gable, and place other gable wall parts according to the same principle.

3. Connect the A/B section of the inclined beam

Insert the A section of the inclined beam into the inclined beam receiver of the B section of the inclined beam, and bolt in two screws (note: no screws are installed in that small hole first)

4. Install the top node

Connect the connected AB section of the inclined beam with the top node, bolt in the screws and tighten them. If it is the first gear, it is necessary to install the steel flower cable, and install the buckle seat at one end of the steel flower cable without flower cable on the second hole of the B section of the inclined beam. Use this method to install all the top nodes and oblique beam AB section.

5. Install the corner node

Insert the inclined end of the corner node into the section A of the inclined beam, connect the upper end of the column to the straight end of the corner node, and at the same time, insert the screw and screw on the nut. If the steel wire flower cable and the cross bar are installed, the hole above the diagonal end of the corner node is installed with screws, and the hole below the straight end of the corner node is installed with screws. Install other corner nodes in the same way.

6. Connect the upright post with the bottom plate

Align the hole position of the lower plug-in on the upright post with the screw connected with the hole position on the bottom plate, and tighten the nut. Connect the bottom plates of other columns with columns in the same way. Note that the whole installation process must be handled with care, and the assembled gables must be padded with wooden squares. When moving aluminum, the whole frame must be lifted to avoid scratching the surface of aluminum due to friction between aluminum and sand and other objects on the ground.

7. Erecting gables

All personnel are divided into four teams. Two people pull the wire rope, and two people stand at the corner node. The others stand at the vertex, and lift the gables up. After lifting them to a certain height, the middle personnel run to both sides to help lift the gables up. The person who pulls the wire rope should also pull the gable up smoothly.

When the whole gable is erected to 71 degrees, it must stop, and then slowly erect it perpendicular to the ground. At this time, the person pulling the wire rope stands with a little force to stabilize the top. At the same time, several people should hold the column. Install the flat iron end of the cross bar to the screw below the upper end of the column by two people, and tighten the nut. Connect the other end of the cross bar to the lower hole on the bottom plate of the adjacent second gable, insert the screw and tighten the nut. Erect the second gable in the same way and install the other two cross bars.

8. Installation beams and purlins

The cross-sectional shape of the beams is house-shaped, and the cross-sectional shape of the purlins is square. Hook ends of beams or purlins are upward, and then they are inclined at a certain angle to hang into U-shaped ears on corner nodes or π-shaped iron on inclined beams. Lift the straight hook end of the beam/purlin slowly with a ladder and then hang it into the hanging ear of the gable beam or corner node on the opposite side of the hook. Generally, there are three beams between two gables, one at each end and one at the top of the middle. The purlin increases or decreases according to the span.

9. Install the middle brace

Connect the middle brace to the small hole of section A of the diagonal beam, insert the screw and tighten the nut. After installing the middle brace, hang the side cross member on the corner joint and the lug of the middle brace. Note that when hanging the side cross member, it must be installed from the fitting end of the side cross member. First, hang the fitting end of the side cross member into the lug in the corner node, and then slowly lift the straight hook end and install it into the lug above the middle brace. Remember not to install the straight hook end first, otherwise the installation will be unsuccessful. Just like installing beams and purlins, it must be installed from the hook end first, and then hung from the straight hook end.

11. Install the cloth top

Thread the places with drawstrings at both ends of the cloth top into the hemp rope, and the drawstrings face the inside of the tent. Then, the rubber strips on both sides of the top end of the cloth are inserted into the groove of the diagonal beam, and the other end of the hemp rope is thrown across the whole frame of the tent, and then four people pull the hemp rope at the same time, so that the top of the cloth is slowly pulled to the opposite side along the groove of the diagonal beam. Remember to pull hard at the same time, otherwise the top of the cloth will get stuck and will not be pulled. To solve this problem, just pull back the top of the cloth for a certain position and then pull hard again at the same time, and the top of the cloth must move forward at the same time. The same square method is good for other cloth tops.

11. The installation of the side triangle

is similar to the installation of the cloth top, but when installing the side triangle, someone must stand next to the top node (with a high ladder) to pull the rope. The only difference is that the pulling belt of the side triangle is outside. First, put the side triangle into the groove of the inclined beam, then the person standing in the middle pulls the hemp rope upwards, and at the same time, the person standing at the corner node needs help to lift the side triangle so that the rubber strip can go up along the groove. When installing the side triangle, you must pay attention to the left and right points, and don't install it backwards. After pulling the two side triangles, slowly thread the middle seam pipe up from the place where the rubber strip is cut off at the lower end between the two side triangles (the one with flat iron in the middle seam pipe faces inward). When passing through the top node, hang the flat iron into the hanging ear of the top node.

12. Install the curtain

Open the curtain, with the front face (the face with rope or cover) facing outwards, and first put the adhesive tape into the milled groove on the column. Then slowly pull it up to the top, insert the hanging yard into the gap of the beam milling groove, paying attention to inserting it one by one. After plugging, insert the lower end of the curtain rubber strip from the milling groove of the column, then pull the curtain to the middle, put the side with the rope behind the side with the awning ring, and connect the ropes in series from top to bottom.

13. Install the cloth top pressure bar

Insert the cloth top pressure bar into the cloth top pressure bar sleeve (that is, there are double-layer sleeves at the two ends of the cloth top, then put the end pressure iron in the pressure bar, and insert the rectangular screw into the seamless pipe of the corner node. The last step is to put the curtain strut into the strut sleeve at the bottom of the curtain to prevent the curtain from being blown by the wind. At this point, the whole installation process is successfully completed.

Precautions for the construction of outdoor exhibition tents

1. Selection of venues

We all know that today's tent products do not have too high requirements for venue conditions, and generally flat ground can be easily built, so can outdoor exhibition tents. However, in order to hold the event in a safe and orderly manner, we still need to investigate the surrounding environment before the outdoor tent is built, and prepare solutions in advance according to the local actual situation, so as to ensure the normal construction of the outdoor exhibition tent!

2. Determine the size and measure the site

After we confirm the conditions for building the site, we also need professional staff to bring professional tools to the site for measurement. If the site conditions are found to be unfavorable, it needs to be adjusted in time to finally determine the specifications and fixing methods of the tent.

3. Verify the use time

After confirming the above two points, we need to confirm the time when we need to use the tent to our customers. Only in this way can tent manufacturers arrange production planning, stocking, transportation, construction and other matters according to the actual situation.
