Qingyang Economic Forest Management Station of Gansu Province applied for the protection of geographical indications of "Qingyang Apple" agricultural products according to the Measures for the Administration of Geographical Indications of Agricultural Products. After preliminary examination, expert evaluation and publicity, it met the registration procedures and conditions of geographical indications of agricultural products, and the Ministry of Agriculture decided to grant registration on May 20, 2009.
