The effective coverage of electric alarm is related to many factors:

1. installation height: electric alarms are usually installed 35 to 40 feet above the ground (1 1 to 12 meters). If the alarm is 35 feet below the ground, the sound intensity will increase in the near range, but the effective range of the sound will decrease. On the contrary, if it is 40 feet from the ground, the effective range of sound will increase, but the sound may skip the area near the alarm, and the alarm itself has a relative height. Generally, the range of bottom height ≥ 0.8m ≤ 2.0m is appropriate.

2. Obstacle size: The smaller the obstacle, the farther the effective distance will be, and the larger the obstacle, the opposite.

3. Local noise level: The higher the environmental noise, the shorter the effective distance and the smaller the noise, and vice versa.

4. Wind speed and direction: They usually affect the sound emitted by the alarm, and the prevailing wind direction should also be considered. For example, if the prevailing wind direction is from the west, we can install the alarm on the west-facing edge of the effective range of the alarm.

Seven, air defense alarm maintenance

1, clean surface, no dust, no scratches and other undesirable phenomena;

2, the base bolt is firm and reliable, and other fasteners are not loose;

3. The locator is positioned accurately, and there are no mouse nests, bird nests, spider nests and other phenomena in the clock wheel;

4. Use the handle of a screwdriver to toggle the clock wheel, which should be flexible and free from sticking;

5, electricity with any alarm test run is normal, powerful voice;

6. The paint on the surface of the alarm is generally updated once every two years, and self-drying paint with the same color can be sprayed; If the surface paint is in good condition, the time can be appropriately extended. When spraying, special attention should be paid to cleaning the surface of the clock wheel. The paint should not be too thick and controlled within 0.05 mm, otherwise it may cause the clock wheel to get stuck.

After the maintenance is completed and the power supply is running normally, make records, indicate the maintenance personnel, the date of next maintenance, etc., and then submit the records to the archives for management.

Tip: No matter the maintenance of the electric alarm, the power of the alarm must be turned off before operation.

Eight, air defense alarm fault analysis

1, power contact problem

After starting the power supply, there is no response. First, check whether the power supply is normal. Are the power contacts intact?

2. The switch trips automatically

There are three situations at this time:

A. Failure to reach the starting current: If the starting current is not reached, the switch will trip automatically. The starting current with detailed specifications is as follows:

B jamming phenomenon: when pulling the clock wheel out of the window of the fixed wheel with a screwdriver, it should rotate flexibly without jamming phenomenon. If it fails, the clock wheel and the fixed wheel are stuck (please remove excess dust and paint).

C, motor bearing damage: see if it is tightened. If it is not tightened, it means that the motor bearing is damaged and needs to be replaced.

3. The motor is burnt out

The power supply is normal, but it still won't start. At this time, please open the motor junction box and check whether the motor is burnt out with a multimeter. If it is burned, the surface looks black and smells bad. At this time, confirm that the motor is burnt out and needs to be replaced.
