In midsummer, the weather has been unbearably hot. Going to the countryside to find a garden, a pond, or a shade tree to cool off has become the main way for city people to relax during this period. On this day, a few friends and I took a bus to the lotus pond beside the Yiganerqi Reservoir, more than 30 kilometers away from the county seat.
It is not very accurate to say that it is a lotus pond. It is made up of connected ponds. Standing anywhere and looking up, you will see overwhelming green, and the lotus leaves are green. Cute, like a pair of round umbrellas spread out on the water, or like jasper trays on the water. Where the breeze passes, waves of green waves roll in, and the stems hold the flowers standing upright on the water, in the wind Swaying happily, dots of pink and white dot the green field, and the fragrance of lotus flows in the air, which is indescribably pleasing to the eye.
The owner of the lotus pond is named Li. When he heard that someone was coming, he hurriedly came out of his simple house to greet us one by one. Friends know Lao Li very well. From them, I learned that Lao Li is from the south and loves lotus flowers very much. He said that lotus flowers are everywhere in his hometown. When he came to Xinjiang, without lotus flowers in his life, he always felt that something was missing.
When he contracted this pond, he was interested in the water source here
