Many foods are nutritious. Nutrients make us healthy and strong.
The food pyramid is basically divided into five categories: grains, vegetables, fruits, milk and meat. The food pyramid shows how much of each of the five food groups we need to eat every day to be healthy. The food pyramid reminds us to eat properly and exercise.
Grains provide us with energy. Dairy products and meat strengthen muscles and bones. Fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins. Most body fats, oils and sugars are unhealthy and should not be eaten regularly.
