Over the years, under the correct leadership of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Justice and the Zhejiang Provincial Prison Administration, prisons have unswervingly implemented the prison work policy of combining punishment with reform, aimed at reforming people, closely focused on the overall goal of building a boutique women's prison, adhered to legal, strict, scientific and civilized management, and embarked on a development path that conforms to the actual situation of prisons. The prison has been awarded the second class merit and the third class merit successively. It was named as a ministerial-level modern civilized prison by the Ministry of Justice, awarded the National March 8th Red Flag Collective by the All-China Women's Federation, and jointly awarded the National Excellent Youth Rights Protection Post by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Justice.
