According to legend, there was a Banqiao shop in the west of Bianzhou in the Tang Dynasty. The proprietress called it "San Niang". No one knows her origin, except that she looks like she is in her thirties. She has neither a husband nor children, nor has she seen any other relatives. However, this proprietress is good at doing business. She runs a porridge and rice shop, but she makes a lot of money. There are many donkeys in her name.
Sometimes I meet people who can't find a place to live in the dark, and Sanniang is willing to rent them a room at a low price. Neighbors all praise Sanniang as a kind-hearted person, but everyone doesn't know that Sanniang has many contacts!
A passerby named Zhao Jihe is going to Luoyang. At dusk, he got the help of Sanniang and lived in Sanniang's shop. Before Zhao Jihe, about six or seven passers-by had moved in. They took up all the good beds, leaving only one place by the wall, so Zhao Jihe slept on the bunk by the wall.
In the middle of the night, Zhao Jihe couldn't sleep because of this uncomfortable posture. Suddenly, he heard the sound of moving things from the other side of the wall. Zhao Jihe lives next door to Sanniang. What is she doing so late? Is it a thief? Zhao Jihe peeked at the next door through the cracks in the wall, stunned!
I saw Sanniang use those utensils to make the plowshares, cows and people made of wood real. Then Sanniang scattered a handful of buckwheat seeds on the ground, and soon buds appeared in the ground, growing and maturing at an alarming rate. San Niang uses local materials, harvests buckwheat, lets the cows grind it into powder, and then adds some water to knead it into sesame cakes. After dawn, Sanniang took out the baked wheat cake made of flour for everyone to eat.
Zhao Jihe was afraid, didn't eat a bite of sesame seed cake, picked up his luggage and left in a hurry. In fact, he is secretly lying on the window to see the situation in the house! Those travelers who ate sesame cakes finally fell to the ground and became donkeys. Zhao Jihe covered his mouth almost screaming, looked at San Niang's eyes in fear and left this magical place in a panic.
A month later, Zhao Jihe went back to Xuzhou, passing by Banqiao Sanniang's shop on the way, and had to live there. The point is, I don't know if it was his bad luck or something on this day, but he was the only one living in Sanniang's shop. Fortunately, this time he prepared a baked wheat cake for himself in advance, which was exactly the same as that served by San Niang that day. He specifically told Sanniang to remember to prepare baked wheat cakes for him tomorrow morning, and Sanniang readily agreed.
The next morning, Zhao Jihe woke up, and Sanniang brought him sesame cakes. Zhao Jihe took advantage of Sanniang's inattention and replaced his baked wheat cake with Sanniang's. He ate "San Niang's sesame cake" in front of San Niang, and then he seemed to remember something and said that San Niang had not eaten it yet. I forgot to bring my baked wheat cake. It tastes good. You must try! Seeing that Zhao Jihe had eaten all his cookies, Sanniang was not afraid of Zhao Jihe's tricks, so she ate the cookies that Zhao Jihe handed me. In the end, nothing happened to Zhao Jihe, but Sanniang became a donkey.
Sanniang usually turns travelers into donkeys through these illusions, and then takes their belongings for herself. Look at those donkeys in her house. Are the victims of San Niang.
Zhao Jihe didn't know how to solve this illusion, so he had to ride the donkey turned by San Niang and stop all the way. Strangely, this donkey never gets lost, and it is better than GPS. Four years later, Zhao Jihe met an old man on the side of the road. The old man actually recognized the donkey as Sanniang. He shouted in surprise: "Sanniangzi Banqiao, how did you become like this?" Then, he advised Zhao Jihe to release San Niang, and it took several years to make amends. Finally, he broke the donkey's nose with both hands, and Sannianzi jumped out of the meat and immediately recovered her original shape.
How's it going? Wonderful! Not bad compared with serialization!
