Spotted geese are a very common bird in China and Tibet. Spotted geese can easily fly over the Himalayas, the highest peak in the world. The average flying height of striped geese is close to 1000 meters, and striped geese can fly over the Himalayas in just eight hours. Living habits of striped geese

In the process of migration, the spotted geese often move in groups, with experienced geese as guides and the rest flying in a word or herringbone formation. Spotted geese are naturally extremely vigilant, especially for humans. Call each other when you meet people, exchange information, dodge in time, and keep a distance of about 100 meters with people. When the goose is eating, there is always a wild goose watching the wind.

However, in recent years, with the increase of climate change, non-degradable garbage invasion and human interference, the breeding ground of the spotted geese at the source of the Yangtze River is facing a serious threat. According to statistics, nearly 2000 eggs are picked up every year in the four lakes at the source of the Yangtze River.
