Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), also known as deoxyribonucleic acid, is the main chemical component of chromosomes and the substance of genes. It is sometimes called "genetic particle" because in the process of reproduction, the father copies and transfers part of his DNA to his offspring, thus completing the spread of traits.
