Give the school a suggestion about the canteen.
Dear school leaders:
Hello!
Nowadays, the problem of students eating in the canteen has caused many students and even parents to discuss. I would also like to take this opportunity to put forward the following points to the school.
Our senior three students experienced a historical change from prosperity to decline in the school cafeteria. Yes, from the snack system in senior one, to the competition between two contractors, to a contractor, and now to compulsory eating. I think we are the most vocal group. I believe that at the beginning, many students admitted to the High School Attached to Shanghai University came because of midnight snack, but in a short time, midnight snack was gone. The school says we shouldn't eat at night for the sake of our health. After a storm, we accepted it Now the school is going to be reformed again. This time it is no longer a "partial reform", but an overall reform. What a comprehensive reform, earth-shaking changes have taken place from the system of eating to the quality of food.
The first is the institutional aspect of school reform:
1. Each class should eat in the designated area.
2. The Life Committee reports the number of diners to the canteen every day.
3. The catering civilization is recorded in the inspection of regulations.
In my opinion, these reforms are all for the convenience of school management. If it is good for students, it will reduce our queuing time. Of course, if you don't queue up, there will be no queue jumping. This is indeed a good progress.
However, has the school really considered the students' ideas? Ok, below, I will put forward some ideas that represent our public:
1. Since all the meals are prepared in advance, when we go to eat, it's fine in summer and easy to get cold in winter. Should we eat these cold meals and cold dishes?
School food is really a big problem. When I open the lid of the lunch box every day, the first thing I see is a group of "unknown objects". With such poor sales, who still has an appetite! Vision is the first way for us to feel the external things directly. It's not good-looking, even if it's delicious, we won't want to eat it. The actual situation is that the food level is very poor.
3. After our collective discussion, the quality of meals in the school canteen is mainly as follows:
(1) There is too much fat, and the hair of the meat is not treated.
(2) The food is not cooked, and the rice is sometimes too hard, especially the meat is not cooked, which may lead to students' discomfort.
(3) seasoning. School meals are either too idle or too light. Of course, it can't completely meet the public's taste, but sometimes it's too idle and sometimes it's too light. This is really a problem.
(4) Fried things, such as chicken legs and fish chops, are too greasy, hard at the same time, and sometimes accompanied by a strange smell, which is difficult to swallow.
(5) The nutrition collocation of the menu is almost a duck leg chicken nugget every other day.
Since we talk about the quality of school meals, we have to talk about hygiene.
(1) Spoons and chopsticks are cleaned by the school at noon every day, but they cannot be guaranteed to be clean because of the large number. Some students found that vegetables and chopsticks smelled bad.
(2) In meals, we can often see bugs in vegetable leaves, even human hair, plastic paper and steel balls.
(3) After dinner, many students saw aunt mopping the table. You can imagine how many bacteria and stains there are on our desktop!
I am thinking, how can we ensure the health of students when the quality of hygiene can't be guaranteed?
Because the meal time is almost the same, it is easy to be crowded when pouring vegetables. Every day at noon, I see aunts on both sides of the door are trying to pour food, but some food still falls on the ground, which was very smooth. There is a large area of oil on the ground, and we are walking on thin ice for fear of falling.
6. The school said that it was because we found a good response when we made up lessons in Jingwei that we implemented the box lunch system. However, I would like to ask, can the food in our school compare with Jingwei? Where meat dishes are paid, vegetarian dishes are not paid. But at school, there is a long queue after eating soup. Different places implement different systems, and the impact is different. Has the school considered it?
7. Teacher He Min said that it hurts every time I see us wasting food. But greens and radishes have their own tastes, and people who don't like them throw them away. Maybe it's not good to be picky about food at this age, but schools really have no right to force students to eat things they don't want to eat, so this kind of waste is inevitable. No matter how painful it is, the food will still be poured and the money will still be wasted.
As far as I know, some students still need to go to the canteen to buy food, even though they have already had lunch at school. The money spent at noon every day reaches 2. 30 yuan, that week will be nearly 100 yuan. As students in boarding schools, they can't leave the school gate and spend money like water. It's incredible.
9. Besides our day students, I would also like to talk about the questions raised by boarding students. There are fewer kinds of breakfast in the canteen in the morning, and sometimes it is even cold, and the meat like raw fried is not really cooked. If you go to the canteen late at night, you will have no food, and the phenomenon of jumping the queue in Grade One and Grade Two is also very serious. Sometimes the canteen closes at 5: 30, so students who haven't eaten can only go to the canteen to buy food at night.
Since the beginning of the reform, students have complained and the school has appeased, but what measures have been taken? What we students really wanted to see didn't happen. Of course, I'm not saying that the school will change immediately if we make suggestions, but at least do something, right? The food, sometimes better, suddenly turned into what it used to be. What are we eating? Dear school leader, would you like to have dinner in the canteen with us? I know there are difficulties in the school and the canteen. In the news these days, there are also questions about college canteens, and we can understand the helplessness caused by the loss of canteens. But the overall problem has not been solved, and it is useless.
Of course, since problems have been raised, there must be improvement measures to deal with them.
First, we demand to restore the previous punch-in system so that everyone can buy their favorite food. Schools can open all the windows, which can alleviate the congestion problem relatively. Naturally, there will be no problem of jumping the queue. At the same time, because everyone buys their favorite dishes, there will be no waste of food. At the same time, schools can try to stagger the meal time to prevent students from being crowded.
Secondly, we hope that the school canteen can compete well between the two contractors. There is pressure to be motivated. Now this contractor is the last one left when we were in the first year of high school. At that time, everyone was still boasting. Why are you now in this field? This shows the importance of competition.
Third, I hope the school can raise the salary for the aunt in the canteen. Every noon, the aunt in the canteen is very tired to clean up our leftovers. Therefore, we hope that their efforts will also be rewarded.
I think, as a school leader, the first important consideration should be the interests of students. So I hope the school can seriously consider the problem of dining in the student canteen and give us a proper answer in time.
thank you
