Archaeopteryx, a Canadian outdoor clothing brand, 1989 was founded in Vancouver, Canada. Its parent company owns Canadian sports brand Arc'teryx, French mountain outdoor cross-country brand Salomon and American tennis equipment brand Wilson. Its products are all over clothing, shoes and hats, tennis equipment, skiing equipment, sports watches and treadmills. [ 1]

On February 25th, 20 19, Anta Sports announced that the offeror who acquired Amer Sports Corporation, the parent company of Archaeopteryx, had obtained the necessary approval from the Mexican Federal Economic Competition Commission to complete the tender offer. So far, the consortium led by Anta has obtained all the official approvals needed to acquire the Finnish sports brand Amer Sports.
