Mohe is located in the northernmost part of China, with a cold climate and poor communication with the outside world. Generally speaking, meat is more than vegetables, salt is more fresh, oil is thick but not greasy, 90% is stew, mostly served in casserole, and Northeast cuisine has strong characteristics.

Mohe specialties include cod stewed tofu, roasted dogfish, braised mandarin fish, white meat and blood sausage, air-dried sausage specially made by Mohe people, fried cakes and so on.

Mohe county is small, but there are many restaurants. You can eat these dishes at any restaurant. If you go to the Arctic Village, the prices of these dishes are relatively expensive.
