1886, after Cezanne's father died, his brother who inherited the banking business arranged a comfortable life for him in the manor in Provence, but the painter still worked tirelessly and diligently. 1895, the artist Vlal held an exhibition for him in his own painting shop in Navereau Street, with a total of 150 works. 1900, the Paris World Expo held the "French Art100th Anniversary" art exhibition, and three works of Cezanne were selected for the exhibition. 1904 A special exhibition "Salute to Cezanne" was held at the Dotoney Gallery in Paris, and a brochure introducing the painter was published. Since then, Cezanne's name has been widely known. 1906 10 February; Cezanne got up at five o'clock in the morning as usual and picked up an easel to sketch in the wild, but failed to get home. He died of a heart attack while painting. At the end of this year, people held a large-scale retrospective exhibition for him, systematically exhibited Cezanne's works and introduced his thoughts. This exhibition touched a young man who just came to Paris from the backcountry of Spain. He is Pablo Picasso, who later became the greatest genius painter in the 20th century. At the age of 46, Cezanne sprouted the concept of cubism from his art, and widely developed and spread Cezanne's thoughts. It is precisely because of this that people call Cezanne "the father of modern painting".
