On the afternoon of the weekend, the sun shone through the kitchen window and sprinkled on the beige tiles, giving the whole kitchen a golden halo. I sat at the dining table, leafing through a cookbook, thinking about the new dishes I want to try today. Weekends are always so pleasant, especially when hobbies are integrated into trivial matters of life.
I chose the recipe of homemade spaghetti with tomato sauce. The ingredients are ready: fresh tomatoes, fragrant olive oil, slender pasta, and spices that can make the dishes smell attractive. I follow the steps in the recipe and deal with the ingredients meticulously. Every movement is so skillful, as if I were already a superb chef.
The process of cooking always makes me happy. When I gently put the spaghetti into the pot, they slowly spread out in the water and danced like bundles of brown ribbons. The ketchup on the fire over there is also bubbling, emitting a mouth-watering aroma. I stirred the spatula gently, as if playing a beautiful symphony.
Unconsciously, the spaghetti is cooked and the tomato sauce is just right. I fished out the noodles, drained them and mixed them with ketchup. Suddenly, the kitchen was filled with an attractive aroma. I looked at my work with satisfaction and felt a sense of accomplishment.
I put spaghetti on a plate and sprinkled it with some green chopped green onion and golden shredded cheese. A piece of spaghetti with good color and fragrance is finished like this. I couldn't wait to pick up the fork and take a bite. Noodles are elastic, and tomato sauce is moderately sweet and sour, as if it were a delicious work of art.
This weekend afternoon, sunshine, kitchen, recipes and I created beautiful memories together. In the process of cooking, I found the joy and satisfaction of life. I think this is the so-called happiness.
