Plough grass, also known as Viola yedoensis or arrowhead grass, is mostly distributed in southern areas, such as Hunan, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and other places. It likes to grow in humid environment, its plants have certain shade tolerance and cold tolerance, and it grows vigorously all year round. As long as the soil is fertile, it can grow well. It is also good to make a small potted plant, and planting in pieces is more ornamental.

Perennial herb of Violaceae, 4~ 14 cm high. It's really hard to find such a small plant when it doesn't bloom. Although the plant is small, it grows steadily, and its main roots are thick and vertical, deeply rooted in the soil. It takes some effort to pull it out.

There are no stems on the plow grass, only clustered leaves with blunt serrations on the edges and purplish below. Pedicel slender, longer than leaves, lavender flowers bisexual.
