Baby food supplement with calcium-supplemented vegetable tofu sticks, suitable for 1 year old+
Vegetable tofu sticks
Tofu is very rich in nutrients
But it is only suitable for babies over 1 year old
The raw material of tofu, soybeans, is a high-quality protein source with a protein content of 35%-40%. It is also rich in calcium, B vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids, and is very nutritious. But it’s best to wait until your baby is 1 year old before eating tofu!
In addition to tofu, I also added yam, carrots, and green peppers to make this vegetable tofu sticks more nutritious and easy to digest!
● Ingredients required
Half a piece of tofu, 1 yam
1/3 carrot, half a green pepper
Appropriate amount of starch
● Preparation tools
Cooking machine, wok
Steamer, mold
Step 1: Wash the tofu and cut into small pieces Put the chunks into a food processor.
Step 2: Peel the yam, cut into small pieces, put it into a food processor, add an appropriate amount of water, and blend it with the tofu into a fine yam and tofu puree. (When peeling yam, many mothers will be allergic to mucus and have itchy hands. Remember to wear disposable gloves)
Step 3: Wash the carrots and green peppers and cut them into small cubes.
Step 4: Put all the diced vegetables into the wok, add oil and fry.
Step 5: Pour the fried diced vegetables into the tofu and yam puree, add an appropriate amount of starch, and stir evenly.
PS: Babies under 1 year old can use salt-free shrimp skin powder for seasoning, and babies over 1 year old can use a small amount of salt for seasoning.
Step 6: Brush a layer of vegetable oil on the bottom and sides of the mold to make demoulding easier.
Step 7: Put the vegetable tofu puree into the mold.
Step 8: Smooth it out and cover it with plastic wrap, put it in a steamer, boil the water and steam it for 15-20 minutes.
Step 9: After steaming, let cool and turn it upside down.
Step 10: Cut the steamed vegetable tofu into small pieces and serve it to your baby!

You can also try it for your baby!
1. When cutting vegetables and tofu, it is best to dip a little water on the blade so that it is not easy to get stuck when cutting.
2. If your baby has weak digestion, you can fry the carrots and green peppers in oil and then put them into a food processor to smash.
