A scholar stealing books is not stealing. Who said that?
Kong Yiji said it.

Kong Yiji is the work of Lu Xun.

They shouted again on purpose: "You must have stolen from others again!" Kong Yiji opened his eyes and said, "How can you make people innocent out of thin air ..." "What innocence? I saw with my own eyes what book you stole and hung it up the day before yesterday. " Kong Yiji blushed and the veins stood out on his forehead, arguing that "stealing books is not stealing ... stealing books! ..... how can you steal the matter of a scholar? " The incomprehensible words such as "the gentleman is poor" and "the villain is poor" caused everyone to laugh: the air inside and outside the store was filled with joy.

Extended data:

Kong Yiji is a short story written by Luxun, a master of modern literature. It was first published in New Youth, Volume VI, No.4, April 2009. 1965438? Later, it was compiled into Scream, which was Lu Xun's second vernacular novel after Diary of a Madman on the eve of May 4th Movement.

The novel describes the tragic image of Kong Yiji, who is pedantic and numb, listless and down-and-out, wasting his time in people's ridicule and banter, and finally being swallowed up by the feudal landlord class.

The space is not long, but it profoundly exposes the poison of the imperial examination system to the intellectual spirit at that time and the "cannibalism" essence of the feudal system. It has a strong anti-feudal significance.
