Guangfu temple 1

Xiao Yan, Emperor Liang of the Southern Dynasties, advocated Buddhism and built many temples in Daxing, Wuxi, including a large-scale temple to protect the country. Among the top ten temples in Liangxi, Huguo Temple is the second.

During the reign of Tang Gaozong Xianheng (670-674), it was renamed Lingshan Temple. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Renzong gave it the name "Fu Sheng Temple", but because it was located in the south gate, it was called nanzenji by the people.

According to county records, nanzenji was built in Liang Wudi in the early Qing Dynasty (AD 547). It is a famous temple in the south of the Yangtze River and one of the 480 temples in the Southern Dynasties. Formerly known as "Liangxifeng Temple, the first Huishan, the second Nanchan". 3. Kaiyuan Temple
