The word "cooking while cooking" appeared in Guangdong Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty: "Eating while cooking on the winter solstice". Interestingly, there is a similar record in Su Shi's collected works: "Mr. Luo always cooks all kinds of food, and is famous for his soup. Everyone who sits is good." The poet Lu Daoshi then wrote a couplet saying,' Throw it into the soup pot in the old ancient cave, dig a cellar and swim into the rice bowl'. Dongpo was overjoyed, but it was recorded. What is this "antique soup"? Yang Zijing tells the story of edge-beating furnace in Cantonese. According to the unified records of the Qing Dynasty, Yang Zijing refers to "making soup for the valley" and "Huizhou customs", which first appeared in the Song Dynasty and should be the ancestor of the modern side furnace. What is "Gu Dong"? The author agrees with Mr. Wu Dingqiu that it is an onomatopoeic word, equivalent to "thump", the sound of food in soup, just like the word "Party God" in Huizhou dialect, and it is an onomatopoeic word when things fall into the water. In this way, Dongpo named this "miscellaneous vegetables cooking" as "cooking".
