As my parents said, we could only eat meat once a year during the Chinese New Year. Now we eat a lot of fish and meat every day, but we can’t eat anything during the Chinese New Year.

There are also some customs during the Chinese New Year that young people nowadays dislike very much. It is the behavior of visiting relatives that young people are disgusted with. After relatives pay New Year greetings to each other, they always talk about some trivial matters, such as asking when their children will get married. Many young people are unbearable, and some even print the words "Don't ask me when I will get married" on their clothes.

The Water Splashing Festival is a carnival all over the world. I think no one in China celebrates such a festival. Anyway, I have never heard of it. This tradition should only be held by our ethnic minorities. Chinese people celebrate a lot of Christmas, and everyone has a sense of freshness. In fact, it is the same abroad. After the Spring Festival in China, Chinatown becomes very lively. We can also see people other than Chinese and overseas Chinese celebrating the Spring Festival together.
