Deng died in Jiangxi at the age of 56. It is best to shake, people are in constant fear. Liu sent Lai Zhizhong, chairman of Xikang provincial government and commander of the 24th Army, to Gansu to preside over Deng's funeral and aftermath. Deng Zideliang (actually adopted son) set up a spiritual health system, and thousands of "forty-eight" Yi people cried in front of Deng's house day and night, and they were in mourning for months. On July 22nd, this newspaper reported in Ningyuan, Xichang: "... When the general died of illness in a private house in Gansu, his entourage included relatives such as Deng Zhangzi Deliang and his daughter (actually adopted daughter), as well as Jingbian Deng, Luo (that is, Rorschach) and Luo Tieha. On his deathbed, Deng's family was still obsessed with the current policy of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and Ningshu foreign nationality, especially his family and subordinates, who obeyed the government, were loyal to the country and developed the frontier, which laid the foundation for the permanent rule of Ningshu foreign nationality. His subordinates were very excited and all said that they would inherit Deng's legacy and continue to work hard. " Deng's funeral was held on the 13th of the winter month in the 34th year of the Republic of China (1945). On that day, Gan mourned all over the city, dressed in linen and banners, and carried the coffin for a long time before being buried. The heads of the Kuomintang, Zhang Qun, Huang Yanpei, Mo Dehui, Deng Xihou, Liu, Zhang, etc. all sent elegiac couplets or inscriptions on tombstones, which were carved by calligraphers Chen Zuo and Zhou and embedded in Deng's tomb (according to news reports, Deng's tomb is indeed an official tomb, and outsiders have no way to check its trace). The tomb is solemn and magnificent in shape.
Inscription on the stone pillar in Deng's tomb: Fang Xinze, as solid as the Great Wall, is famous for Joan Lubude;
The fallen tree cherishes the merits and helps all beings to comfort them.
Huang Yanpei wrote on the tomb: Great Wall of Korea.
Huang Yanpei, the chairman of China Democratic Political League and a famous educator, once praised it as "the Great Wall of Great Men" and thought that Deng was "loyal, brave and sincere, committed to peace and stability, and made contributions to the nation and the country" in maintaining social order and transportation after the Anti-Japanese War.
