Dongguan Railway Station is located at the junction of Shilong Town and Chashan Town in Dongguan.

Dongguan Railway Station has two stations, Shilong East Station and Chashan West Station, which were officially opened on 201October 8, 2004. It is the most comprehensive station in Dongguan on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen line, with the largest number of passenger trains and passengers, and can directly serve the central city of Dongguan.

The overall architectural design of Dongguan Station is inspired by Lingnan folk dragon boat culture, and the dragon boat image and dragon boat ridge elements of Lingnan residential buildings are combined as the main materials to form the characteristic appearance of dragon boat race. Dongguan Station is endowed with the regional cultural connotation of Shilong Town, and points out the meaning of water dragon in Shilong regional culture.

The dragon shape of Dongguan Station contains two meanings: first, it represents that all Chinese sons and daughters are descendants of dragons; Secondly, the culture of Shilong Station, which has been deposited for a hundred years, has completed its mission, allowing the cultural temperament of Shilong Station to be passed on to the new Dongguan Station, and the appearance of the building is built with the dragon character of Shilong, indicating the affirmation and inheritance of the culture of Shilong Station 100 years.

1, shilong maltose

Shilong maltose is a local product of Dongguan. The main raw material of shilong maltose is not malt, but glutinous rice. The quality of glutinous rice in Dongguan is particularly excellent, and there are exquisite traditional techniques, so the maltose made is particularly good, and the container for maltose is also unique. It is a round cup with a ceramic lid, and there is about one kilogram of maltose in each cup. After maltose is put into the cup, it will be sealed with a lid and then labeled.

2. Litchi

Litchi peel has scaly protrusions, which are generally dark red to bright red when mature. When fresh, the pulp is translucent and condensed, which tastes delicious, but it is not resistant to storage. It is distributed in southwest, south and southeast China, and is cultivated most in Guangdong and southern Fujian.
