There is a folk proverb in China that "one pigeon wins nine chickens". Chinese medicine believes that pigeon meat can tonify liver and kidney, lower blood pressure, regulate blood sugar and improve memory.
First frost is approaching the nourishing season for the first time. Drinking pigeon soup at this time is helpful to strengthen physical fitness and promote blood circulation, thus keeping out the cold in winter.
The practice of pigeon soup:
① Stewed pigeon soup

④ Tremella, dried tangerine peel and pigeon soup
Ingredients: pigeon, tremella, dried tangerine peel

⑤ Huaiyishan Rengou Qige Decoction
Ingredients: pigeon, coix seed, medlar and yam.
Methods: 1. Soak Coicis Semen in water 6-8 hours in advance.
2. Dove the pigeon, pour out the blood, add onion, ginger and cooking wine and cook over high fire.
3. Turn the heat down, add yam and coix seed and cook for 1.5 hours, then add medlar and continue cooking for 30 minutes.

⑥ Gezi Yangxin Decoction

Ingredients: Pigeon, trotters, lotus root, candied dates, red dates, medlar and lotus seeds.
Methods: 1. Wash all the materials, peel the lotus root and cut into thick slices.
2. Pigeons will spray blood after drowning.
3. add water, don't eat pigeons. Add pork, onion, ginger and cooking wine and bring to a boil.
4. Turn to low heat and pour lotus root slices, candied dates, red dates, medlar and lotus seeds into the pot for stewing 1 hour. Season with salt 5 minutes before cooking.
