The famous murals are the fahai temple in Beijing and the Jiji Temple in Xinjiang County, Shaanxi Province. Fahai temple was founded in the Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt in the Ming Dynasty. The Brahma map on the north wall of the main hall is a masterpiece of murals in the Ming Dynasty. Jiyi Temple was built in Song Dynasty and rebuilt in Yuan Dynasty. The east, west and south walls of the main hall are painted with murals of the Ming Dynasty. The theme is mainly ancient myths and legends and social life, which is rare in temple murals. There are also murals of Zhenglong Temple in Jishan, Shanxi, Pilu Temple in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, and popular land and water paintings in the Ming Dynasty, and there are also many existing ones. The murals in Lijiang Naxi Autonomous County, Yunnan Province are rich in local characteristics and representativeness.
