After gastrointestinal polyp surgery, especially after discharge, we must pay special attention to diet. One to two weeks after leaving the hospital, you must take light semi-liquid food that is easy to digest after eating as the staple food. For example, we can eat some noodles or porridge and wonton. These can be used as staple food. You can eat some tomatoes, white gourd or yam when eating vegetables. Eat less celery, leeks and other vegetables containing a lot of crude fiber, and try not to eat them.
You can choose some fish when you eat some meat. You can also drink some milk or eat some eggs. You must choose some foods that are easy to chew and can be digested quickly. Don't eat food that is too hot or raw. Don't add some extra strong tea or coffee to the drink. Don't eat like some peppers or irritating food.
Many wounds will stabilize about three days after polypectomy, and then slowly heal in half a month. It will be fully recovered within a month.
Therefore, when we leave the hospital, we must pay attention to rest. You can go for a walk in the park or do some relaxing housework at home. You must avoid strenuous exercise. Don't do anything with special strength, such as lifting heavy objects or doing some weightlifting exercises. And don't do it after leaving the hospital after surgery. I've been sedentary. And don't stay up late, go to bed early and get up early every day. It is very helpful for wound healing, but the wound recovery is slow after polypectomy. For example, if you have some cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases or liver diseases, you must pay attention to your schedule.
And you must take medicine on time after discharge. If the stool is black or bloody, you must go to the hospital for reexamination.
