There are no bedrooms on the first floor of Soong Meiling's former residence, only the dining room, living room, kitchen and a "sun room" dedicated to basking in the sun. There are four suites on the second floor next to the main room. Song Meiling lived in one of them.
The house now for sale was sold in 2002 for about $5 million, and the owner spent $1 million on renovations and reconstruction.
