Gong Xue, Bobai County, founded in the early Tang Dynasty, is one of the earliest counties in Guangxi. In the Qing Dynasty, there were educational institutions in the county, such as Gong Xue, Academy, Yi-ology and private school. In the 31st year of Guangxu (1906), Yuhuan Academy was changed into a county-level higher primary school, which was the beginning of Bobai New School.
Bobai County Junior Middle School was founded in the spring of 13 (1924), and a senior middle school class was added in March1year, and it was renamed Bobai County Middle School. After liberation, the party and the people's government attached great importance to education and vigorously developed primary and secondary education. 1965 Bobai county has 695 primary schools (including teaching points) with 59,000 students and 2,283 teaching staff. There are 9 middle schools with 4063 students and 324 faculty members. Preschool education, adult education and vocational education have also developed accordingly.
During the period from 1966 to 1976, education was seriously damaged, the normal teaching order was destroyed, the entrance examination system was cancelled, teachers struggled, and the quality of education was low. After 1978, education developed healthily. The reform of the education system began to be tried out, the school layout was adjusted, and the quality of education increased year by year.
From 65438 to 0985, the enrollment rate, consolidation rate, graduation rate and popularization rate of school-age children reached the national standard, and the people's government of the autonomous region issued a certificate of universal primary education. 1988 was rated as a national strong education county; 1989 was designated as an experimental county for comprehensive reform of rural education in China by the State Education Commission; 1990 was rated as a county for repairing dangerous buildings in primary and secondary schools in Guangxi.
