Henan University of Science and Technology (HAUST for short) is located in Luoyang, the "Millennium Imperial Capital, Peony Flower City" and the sub-central city of the Central Plains urban agglomeration. It is a university jointly established by the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and the People's Government of Henan Province, a provincial key university, and one of the three key comprehensive universities in Henan Province. It ranks in the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions, the education and training plan for outstanding engineers, the education and training plan for outstanding doctors and the education and training plan for outstanding agricultural and forestry talents.
