Film evaluation
The harsh desert, the folk customs in the northwest, the chivalry in the rivers and lakes, the wonderful martial arts, the well-behaved costumes, and the distinctive personality ... constitute the classics handed down from generation to generation, and are also the masterpieces of martial arts movies that we rarely see after those years.
Produced by Tsui Hark and directed jointly by Li Huimin and Cheng Xiaodong, Xinlongmen Inn brings together stars such as Tony Leung Ka Fai, Brigitte Lin, Maggie Cheung and Donnie Yen. It is the best new martial arts film in Hong Kong. Jin Xiangyu sat on the roof with bare thighs singing, and the chef Tartars stripped my father-in-law's calf to the bone ... These scenes made many fans unforgettable, as if "the best time to watch China's martial arts movies".
