Abortion has a series of processes, which are clinically divided into various stages.
Threatened abortion: a small amount of vaginal bleeding appears after menopause, which is dark red; Have a slight abdominal pain or backache. If the embryo is normal, after rest and treatment, bleeding can stop and pregnancy can continue. If the embryo development is blocked and continues to bleed, it will develop into an inevitable abortion stage.
Inevitable abortion: Inevitable abortion develops from threatened abortion, and abdominal pain is aggravated at this time. Cervical dilatation, increased vaginal bleeding, or blockage of embryonic tissue at the cervix.
Incomplete abortion: at this time, the fetus has been discharged, and some placental fragments remain in the uterine cavity to hinder uterine contraction, leading to paroxysmal lower abdominal pain and persistent vaginal bleeding, with a large amount of bleeding and even shock. The cervix is wide open and easy to cause infection.
Complete abortion: pregnancy products have been completely discharged, vaginal bleeding has been significantly reduced and stopped, abdominal pain has disappeared, and the cervix has been closed.
Expired abortion: refers to those who have not naturally discharged their embryos more than two months after death. At this time, the pregnancy reaction disappears, and repeated vaginal bleeding may occur. The size of the uterus does not match the pregnancy month, and the pregnancy test is negative.
There are many reasons for abortion.
Abnormal embryonic development: early abortion, abnormal embryonic development accounted for 80%. This can be caused by genetic factors, external chemical and physical factors. Threatened abortion caused by abnormal embryonic development, treated by any method, is often futile. Even if labor continues, most of them give birth to deformed children or stillbirths.
Maternal causes: poor maternal health or serious diseases can lead to abortion, such as severe anemia, severe malnutrition, acute infectious diseases, acute infection, severe mental trauma and so on. Endometriosis can also lead to miscarriage. Maternal uterine dysplasia, uterine malformation, uterine fibroids and intrauterine adhesions are also easy to cause abortion. Maternal endocrine dysfunction, especially luteal insufficiency, can lead to progesterone deficiency, decidual dysplasia, affect the implantation and development of pregnant eggs, and cause abortion.
Is it easy for pregnant women to abort after trauma? Has always been taken for granted. In fact, general trauma is not easy to cause abortion, such as surgery, falls during pregnancy, bumps, and the proportion of abortion is not high. It can be seen that if the embryo develops normally, it is quite solid.
Pregnant women with vaginal bleeding should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible. If threatened abortion is diagnosed, pregnant women should stay in bed and sexual intercourse is absolutely forbidden. If necessary, they should take sedatives and take vitamin E orally. After diagnosis, progesterone can be used to protect the fetus if necessary.
After rest and treatment, if the bleeding is reduced and the abdominal pain is relieved, pregnancy can continue. If the bleeding increases and the embryonic tissue is discharged from the vagina, it must be kept and go to the hospital for examination. After examination, the fetal heart sounds disappeared and the cervix was obviously wide open. It is best to terminate the pregnancy in time to protect the health of pregnant women.
