Futian District belongs to Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It is the downtown area of Shenzhen and the seat of the municipal party committee and municipal government. Located in the middle of Shenzhen, Hongling Road, which is connected to Luohu District in the east, Qiaocheng East Road and Haiyuan No.1 Road, which are connected to Nanshan District in the west, Shenzhen River and Shenzhen Bay, which are across the river from Mai Po and Yuen Long in the New Territories of Hong Kong in the south, and the ridges such as Baimeishi, Dainaoke and Huangzhuyuan, which are adjacent to Zhi Min Street in Longhua New District in the north.

Evolution of Futian division;

1990 10 With the approval of the State Council, Shenzhen established Futian District, which governs seven streets: Yuanling, Nanyuan, Futian, Shatou, Meilin, Huafu and Xiangmihu. The District People's Government is located in Shennan Middle Road, and the original Shangbu Management District is revoked accordingly.

In 2000, with the formal approval of Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Meilin Village Social Management Committee and Huanggang Social Management Committee were established respectively.

In 2002, Futian District reorganized and merged the original 1 16 neighborhood committees into 85 community neighborhood committees. In June of the same year, Lianhua Street was added in Futian District.

In 2007, the number of community neighborhood committees in the whole region increased by 22 on the basis of the original 92, with a total of 1 14. There are 94 community workstations in the whole area.

In July 2009, the four streets of Yuanling, Huafu, Futian and Shatou were adjusted and divided into Huaqiang North and Fu Bao, and the number of streets in the whole district was expanded from the previous eight to 10.

As of 20 16, Futian District has 10 streets, 94 community workstations and14 neighborhood committees, including Yuanling Street, Nanyuan Street, Futian Street, Shatou Street, Meilin Street, Huafu Street, Xiangmihu Street, Lianhua Street and Huaqiang North Street.

There are 15 collective joint-stock companies in Shangbu, Futian Huanqing, Gangxia, Huanggang, Shuiwei, Nongyu, Shi Xia, Xinzhou, Shawei, Shazui, Shangsha, Xiasha, Shangmeilin, Xiameilin and Tianmian. The government is located at Fumin Road 123.
