Famine Online Edition August 2 1 Update Overview
The online version of the multiplayer cooperative survival game Famine launched a wave of version updates on August 2 1. The new version adds some props and login rewards. Let's take a look at the list of specific updates.

First of all, I wish players from all countries good health. We launched another quality of life update this month. As before, we also want to give the development team more space to prepare for the next update. According to Cory's usual style, we seized this small and new opportunity and then did a little more.

Besides, we want to give you something interesting. This time, the new live props dropped, and the login reward and the new Cole reward were launched!

First, let's take a look at the summary of this update:

A new prop named Cooking Guide has been added, and adventurers can use it to record and check their adventures in the field of food.

Cooking guides can be made under food production labels.

Players can learn recipes by cooking food and taking the cooked dishes off the cooking equipment.

When eating food, the details of the food will be displayed.

Cooking guides can record six recent unique recipes, and the old recipes will be forgotten.

The history will be saved in your online profile and can be viewed in the profile menu.

The food in the module will be kept locally and will not be uploaded to your online information. There is a special interface display in the cooking guide.

Changed the screen flicker of lightning and gunpowder.

Screen flashing (lightning and gunpowder) will no longer close your open container.

Added "screen flicker" option, players can adjust the intensity of screen flicker.

Players can now open the equipment box and super equipment box from the item bar. When doing so, they will be thrown to the ground.

Added "Backpack Layout" option, so that keyboard and mouse players can use the backpack layout in handle mode.

Cave bat wings can now be used in cooking pots.

Holding down the left Shift key (key setting: "Forced Move into Container (Module)") and then right-clicking an item in the item bar will drop it to the ground.

The ancient guardian will now leave behind the blueprint of its statue.

You can mark your favorite modules, and the marked modules will be displayed at the top of the module list.

You can search and filter modules in the module interface.

Our newest member, Zarklord, has joined the production list.

Precautions for module authors

Cooking guide

Calling AddCookerRecipe will add 1 recipes to the cooking guide.

All modular foods will be added to the "Modular Recipes" tab of the cooking guide.

The recipe of "Portablespicer" will not be added to the recipe.

You can add "no_cookbook = true" to the recipe to prevent it from appearing in the cooking guide.

Every food and raw material must call RegisterInventorYitemaatlas (Atlas, Image) to make their icons appear in the cooking guide. If not called, food and raw materials will be displayed as question marks.

Foods with side effects need to be set as descriptive strings.

The only side effect is that foods with temperature changes will automatically set their descriptions.

You can set a custom detail panel by implementing "custom_cookbook_details_fn". This function must return a widget that represents the new details panel.

You can add the project bar icon and atlas of the project in the global query table by calling RegisterinventoryItemAtlas (Atlas, Image). (Add the atlas to the global lookup table. Any call to GetInventoryItemAtlas will use this table.

Modules can now run other necessary modules in the modinfo tab.

There are two new modsettings.lua functions.

DisableModDisabling () will disable the function of disabling the module when the game crashes.

DisableLocalModWarning () disables the warning issued by the game when a module that is not in Creative Workshop/Module Warehouse but is all_clients_require is enabled.

Modinfo will get a transparent locale code, which is stored in the variable "locale" to support the translated text in Modinfo.

The helper function "ChooseTranslationTable(tbl)" takes a table as a parameter and returns tbl[locale] or tbl[ 1]. The default language environment of the module should be tbl[ 1].
