What is a banana?
Plantain was originally used as medicine with seeds, and the earliest record about plantain is in Benjing: there are many people on the roadside. It can be seen that banana grows on roadsides, gardens, vegetable gardens, rivers and other places, and likes humidity. The scientific name of plantain is plantain, which is a herb of Plantago, also known as wheel dish, and is called "slug" in the Book of Songs. Its rhizome is short and thick, and its fibrous roots are clustered. Plantago has small flowers, inconspicuous corolla and oval fruit. Has the effects of clearing away heat and toxic materials, promoting diuresis, cooling blood, clearing liver-fire, improving eyesight, resolving phlegm and stopping diarrhea. Plantago can be used not only for medicine, but also for food. Its seedlings and shoots are collected in spring and summer, boiled in boiling water and cut into thin slices, and mixed with cold dishes such as salt, garlic paste, vinegar and sesame oil to stimulate appetite and clear heat.
