Shanghai Publishing and Printing College, founded in 1953, is the first publishing and printing school established in New China, the cradle of publishing and printing education in China, and a characteristic school jointly established by the State Press and Publication Administration (formerly the State Press and Publication Administration) and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government.
