There are dozens of local dishes handed down from generation to generation in Jiang Xinzhou Folk Village: native river fish, river shrimp, roasted pork with cowpea cooked with poultry and vegetables, roasted pork with purslane, bacon wrapped in lotus leaves, roasted tofu with hairy fish, fried potato vines, fried shredded pumpkin and so on.

There are ten famous farm dishes: master Lu's crock fish, Xu Shi braised pork, catfish bean curd, leek scrambled eggs, purslane roasted meat, Yangtze fish fried dumpling, braised chicken, lobster sauce fish, boiled river fish and chrysanthemum soup.
