Today, from my personal point of view, let's talk about why leisure agriculture mostly ends in failure:
1, the purpose is not pure, leisure agriculture is just a cover.
We have to admit that every time the policy of benefiting farmers is implemented, there will be some loopholes. The purpose is not to benefit and revitalize the countryside, but to obtain subsidies from the policy of benefiting farmers.
I have a friend who works as a base technical service. He walked through dozens of large-scale land transfer bases across the country, many of which were just a circle of land. When the board house is built, it is gone. Many fertile fields are barren, which makes people feel distressed. Fortunately, now the government has begun to rectify this chaos.
2. The capital chain is broken and there is nothing to be done.
The investment cycle of agricultural projects, especially leisure agriculture, is too long. Many people haven't waited for the expected scale and effect, but the capital chain has collapsed, and they are deeply involved and exhausted.
The first five or six years of leisure agriculture were basically investment. Fruit trees, it costs money to buy saplings, right? It costs money to hire people to plant trees, right? It takes time for you to plant small trees and bear fruit, doesn't it? But during this time, you have to pull, prune and fertilize, and you have to hire technicians to do it, right? You have to see it all year round. You have to have a landscape, a shed and a leisure area, right? These inputs are also money.
I know a boss who returned to his hometown to transfer thousands of acres of land and rebuild his hometown. He invested more than 2 million yuan in two years and didn't see a penny back. Does the average person have such economic endurance? I've been investing and I can't see the money coming back. Do you still insist on selling iron to borrow money?
3, blindly follow the trend, there is no leisure agriculture resources.
Leisure agriculture is a combination of agriculture and tourism. As can be seen from the meaning between the lines, the conditions it considers and meets are not simple.
Some so-called leisure agriculture is carried out in blocks. The area is independent of tourist attractions and has no unique human resources. There are no attractive additional attractions around. There is a single variety of cultivation and breeding, and the supporting facilities are not complete. At first glance, it is unattractive.
You have to think about it. You can grow special agricultural products, so can others. Picking gardens bloom everywhere. So, where is your leisure agriculture better than others? What's the attraction? Why let consumers choose you? What advantages do you have over others?
4. Have feelings and get ideas impartially.
You can't do agriculture without feelings, but you can't just play with feelings. Nowadays, most leisure agriculture projects are not farmers or technicians who really understand agriculture, but new farmers who don't understand agriculture and return home to start businesses with feelings. Their positioning of leisure agriculture is seriously wrong.
I know a leisure farm owner whose idea is an old-fashioned agricultural product, which does not use pesticides and fertilizers at all. It is conceivable that employees spend countless dollars on weeding and catching insects every day. Orchards and crops are still badly eaten by insects, not to mention the output. Many people say that they would rather eat the fruit of pesticides than the fruit of fat insects.
The ideal is full and the reality is skinny. Leisure agriculture won't let you return to primitive society. Now bugs are very resistant to drugs, and you suddenly stop using them. Then all the bugs around you jump on you.
Big and beautiful agricultural products are cheap, but fruits that have been ravaged by insects like you are sold several times more. You have to think about it. Will anyone buy it? Ideas go astray, 100 cows can't be pulled back.
5. Successful case analysis
Is leisure agriculture successful? The answer is yes. Shouguang Food Expo is a typical successful case of leisure agriculture. During the annual food fair, it attracts a large number of tourists and becomes a key leisure agricultural tourist attraction.
A successful case of leisure agriculture around Xi is a mulberry field in his hometown. The picking period of this mulberry garden has always been listed as one of the local tourist attractions, and tourists in droves will definitely take his mulberry garden as a leisure spot. What is the reason?
It is because he not only has more than a dozen mulberry varieties, but also has more special fruit picking and seedling supply (ginseng fruit, wild cherry, red meat apple and so on). ), and the picking period was extended from the greenhouse to the open air for several months. He also developed a series of mulberry products: mulberry tea, mulberry enzyme, mulberry wine, mulberry dessert and mulberry gourmet series formula.
He laid a "carpet" under the mulberry trees in the mulberry garden, which is equivalent to providing a natural cool rest place for leisure picking tourists, and it is also very comfortable to have a nice nap under the tree. Mulberry catering, unique roast fragrant pig and willow branch barbecue are the most important features of his family. They are all exclusive transactions, and there is no semicolon, which naturally attracts many people to visit here on weekends. Some city tourists drive there just to eat a mulberry series meal.
In short, leisure agriculture must have a point that can continuously attract tourists and support development in order to survive. Leisure agriculture without its own characteristics just blindly follows the trend and doesn't even understand its own characteristics. How can it attract traffic and make money? Leisure agriculture can't survive without making money, so it's not surprising that it ended in failure.
