Salt 1.5 teaspoon of allspice powder 1.5 teaspoon.
0.5 teaspoon monosodium glutamate/chicken essence
Steps of spiced roast chicken
1.? Mix salt, allspice powder and monosodium glutamate/chicken essence.
2.? Wash and dry the tender chicken, coat the chicken inside and outside with the freshly mixed seasoning, and marinate for at least 3 hours.
3.? Fill the chicken with onion and star anise. Put it on a baking tray and spray/grease it. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
Put the chicken in the oven, turn on the hot air and bake for 20 minutes (if there is no hot air, please extend the baking time 10 minute), and turn it over every once in a while. Turn to roasting/fire and roast for 8- 10 minutes or until the chicken skin turns golden brown. Take it out and let it cool. Discard the star anise and shallots.
