Binyang Dragon Running Festival is a unique traditional festival in Binyang County, Guangxi. It is a comprehensive folk festival in which Han and Zhuang cultures are integrated and symbiotic. 1 has a distinctive and rich national color. It is held on the eleventh day of the first month of the lunar calendar every year. Binyang Dragon Festival has a long history, and there are different opinions about its origin, but the most festive statement is that it originated from the Kunlun Pass War between Di Qing and Nong Gaozhi in Song Dynasty. In the 5th year of Song You (A.D. 1053), Di Qing ordered a three-day banquet on the eve of the Lantern Festival to paralyze the rebellious Zhuang leader farmers, ordered soldiers to dance dragons, and called on the people to set off firecrackers to help celebrate the carnival. Pennsylvania city is full of joy. On the night of the second drum, Di Qing led a good soldier to raid the Kunlun Pass, and the Kunlun Pass was captured during the third drum. From then on, the residents of Pennsylvania City thought it was auspicious to dance the cannon dragon. At this time of the year, they have to jump the cannon dragon to celebrate, and the carnival has continued and has been passed down to this day. Binyang Fireworks Dragon Boat Festival includes colorful frames, lantern festival, fireworks dragon dance and other activities. The Commander-in-Chief (also known as the head of the meeting) gave orders to the dragon dancers, who all went shirtless and wore hats like those of officers and men of the Qing Dynasty (all woven with bamboo and painted black). The cannon dragon opens the way with dragon balls, dragon cards, gongs and drums and civil and military venues. Lights and dragon guards follow the dragon first. Wherever the cannon dragon went, every household took out firecrackers prepared in advance and threw them at the cannon dragon to show their greetings. There is a saying that "the cannon never stops and the dragon dances", so it is called the cannon dragon. The cannon dragon is scheduled to light a lamp in the temple or the countryside at 7 o'clock that night. The team leader (or teacher) will bite off the rooster's crown, light longan with the blood of the rooster's crown, and then all the cannons will sound and the dragon will leap out. In recent years, special brands such as "Hundred Dragon Dance Pennsylvania" have attracted many tourists from home and abroad, and are called "Oriental Carnival". 1On June 7th, 2008, Binyang Dragon Running Festival was approved by the State Council to be included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
