What is three refined meats: 1. I didn't kill it myself. No one else killed him for himself. I didn't let others kill me.
After reading these three sentences, everyone should vaguely understand the connotation of the three refined meats. Buddhism says that all beings are equal, not just that all people are equal, but that all creatures are equal. Killing will create evil, and creating evil will violate the teachings of Buddhism. Three lean meats try to avoid sin, because the production of these three meats has nothing to do with me. I just eat the food that already exists, and if I don't eat it, I will waste it. Even if there is murder, it should not be borne by me. I have to say that this is a very clever choice. Moreover, Tibetans eat more meat from large animals, because large animals contain protein and have higher energy, so as to avoid killing more small animals and less small animals. They don't eat horse meat, donkey meat or dog meat, but mostly beef and mutton.
Of course, the above is not the most fundamental reason why they eat meat. The real reason is related to the environment. First, meat is rich in protein. However, in many plateau areas, the growing environment of vegetables is harsh and the climate is cold. Without meat, there is not enough energy for survival and life. Therefore, in order to survive, they gradually changed their traditions and compromised with nature, which is an admirable and understandable decision. It can be seen that they follow the tradition without violating the internal and natural laws.
