Method:

1. The beef I buy is the meat from the leg. Use the back of a knife to chop the meat a few times to break the tendons. Then cut into pieces.

You can put the meat in hot water. If you find it troublesome, you don’t have to use it. The purpose of passing water is to prevent the beef from having too much foam when cooking.

2. Then, put the meat in the pot and add water to cover the beef by about 3cm. It depends on everyone’s pot, just the right amount.

3. Add onions, ginger and aniseed as seasonings. If you like dried chili, add one. Note: If you add garlic, put it in with the skin on, a whole head or half a head. Depending on how much beef you stew.

4. Two and a half spoonfuls of noodle sauce and one spoonful of dark soy sauce. Just check if the color is dark enough. I also added half a piece of fermented bean curd. If you like it sweeter, you can add a little sugar.
