Guanzhu Temple: According to the tablet of Guanzhu Temple in Xincun Township, "Wude Youfu joined the army in Wei Chijingde in the Tang Dynasty to rebuild Guanzhu Temple". Accordingly, the village was built in the Sui Dynasty, and was originally called Guanzhu Temple. At that time, the village was close to the bank of yi river, washed away by floods, and the riverbed moved eastward, so it was renamed Xincun. Guanzhu Temple was originally one of the 18 temples in China, and the number of deities and buddhas dedicated is second only to Hanshan Temple in Suzhou. In those days, the temples in the temple were magnificent, with drums and morning bells at dusk, misty clouds, towering pines and cypresses, clouds and cranes looming, and pilgrims swarming around. According to the local elders, there were nine Gu Song trees in the temple, named "Nine Female Pines". There are only five trees left, and the trunk is old and clumsy. Although it has been through many vicissitudes, it still has a handsome look. Several ancient monuments scattered everywhere record the historical vicissitudes of the ancient temple. To the north of the site of Guanzhu Temple, a tall ginkgo tree stands proudly. According to historical records, the tree was planted in the Yong Guang period of the Western Han Dynasty (43-39 BC), with a height of 37.6 meters, a DBH of 2.24 meters and a crown width of 2.1×29 meters. The tree is male, and the place name organization is named Xincun Baiguoshu. This tree stands in the sky with a huge shadow, which is the highest male ginkgo in China. The bottom branch of the tree was grafted with the female branch by the monks of Guanzhu Temple in those days, and now it is full of fruits, which surprises the viewers. According to folklore, there used to be no ginkgo tree here, but there was a fairy named Lv Dongbin, who only produced eight fruits every year, and each fairy could only get one. One year, the Queen Mother visited Lv Dongbin Xianfu, which coincided with the mature season of Ginkgo biloba. The Queen Mother was very jealous when she saw the golden ginkgo fruit, so she took two of them and hid them in her sleeve while the gods were unprepared. Lv Dongbin was very angry when he learned this, and sent Zhang Guolao to ride a donkey to chase him. The Queen Mother was helpless, so she had to drop the fruit, which happened to fall in the Guanzhu Temple. Two small ginkgo trees grew up, and they grew into big trees in a few days, and were called "old sacred trees" by the local people. There is a thousand-year-old pagoda tree in the east of the old sacred tree. It is said that Wei Chijingde, a general of the Tang Dynasty, once tied a horse under the old sacred tree. There is a folk story of "respecting Drama to see the ancient pagoda tree". By the end of 25, there were 1, mu of ginkgo leaf picking nursery base, 15, mu of ginkgo seedling cultivation garden, 6 mu of ginkgo bonsai garden and 4,4 mu of ginkgo fruit garden in the township, making it the largest sales market of ginkgo seedlings in Jiangbei of China. The 1,-mu Ginkgo Garden Tourist Area within its jurisdiction was rated as "National AA-level Tourist Attraction" in 23 and "National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site" in 25. Xincun Township has successfully held three international ginkgo festivals and several ginkgo academic seminars. Scenic spots such as Ginkgo Cultural Forest of Steles, Guangfu Temple and Ginkgo Popular Science Museum are under planning and construction.
