Runbing is a snack in southern Fujian. According to legend, it is related to Cai, a famous minister in Ming Dynasty. Cai was busy with official business all day and couldn't eat, so his wife rolled all kinds of ingredients into pancakes for her husband to eat. China Minnan, Chaoshan and Taiwan Province provinces mainly eat moon cakes in New Year or Tomb-Sweeping Day.
