When I was in Beijing, my friends took me to the duck restaurant in Blue Harbor. The decoration is very Beijing-style, at least for me, a foreigner, it is quite Beijing-like. There was a big brother slicing duck at the door, which was a bit of a performance, haha. I don’t know if the duck we ate later was made by him.
The attendance rate is not high, and basically every table must order sliced ??duck. Once it is served, it is full of excitement. At least the presentation takes up a large space. In addition to the sweet noodle sauce, there is also yellow mustard sauce, the duck skin is dipped in sugar, and the duck meat and shredded cucumber and green onions are wrapped in bread to eat. Strangely, they also provide a plate of vegetable leaves. It is said that duck meat can be eaten wrapped in vegetable leaves. First time eating like this. Ordering the sliced ??duck comes with a bowl of duck soup, which I think is a bit spicy with the addition of pepper.
Mustard duck feet, boneless duck feet, the mustard sauce is a bit strong so don’t dip it too much.
When the duck heart was served, it was full of ceremony and a fire was lit.
I ate the Beijing dim sum pea yellow and donkey rolling, and there was also a white dim sum that felt a bit like five-nut mooncakes, which is hard to describe.
The other dishes are just average. They may not have much distinctive taste, but they are better in creativity. The service attitude was mediocre, but the actions were very neat, and the water was served very quickly. I didn't want to order sour plum soup, but they even offered us two pots of tea. The friend paid the bill, so I don’t know how the consumption was, but in the end, six people couldn’t eat these dishes.
