Steps
1. The dried tofu I bought this time is whiter, the same color as tofu, but harder. I really like this color of dried tofu. Wash and marinate with salt for a while.
2. Put oil in the pot, heat it up, and deep-fry the tofu until both sides are golden brown. I didn’t put in a lot of oil, so it was half-fried and half-fried. When frying dried tofu, be sure to stir it less to avoid breaking the skin.
3. Half a catty of chicken meat. I bought this in the supermarket from Zhengda. It costs 4 yuan per pound. The meat is relatively clean and has bones. I think this meat is more suitable for roasting in the oven. I will try it next time. Cut the dried tofu into small pieces.
4. Heat the oil in a hot pan and sauté the ginger, onion, and garlic until fragrant. Add a little sugar and quickly fry the chicken. After the chicken changes color, add dried tofu, add soup, pour in a small amount of soy sauce, and bring to a boil. Then skim off the foam;
5. Simmer over low heat until the chicken is cooked; sprinkle with salt and MSG and serve.
