1. First, click Window → Action in the menu bar to open the action window. Its default shortcut key is Alt+F9. We can see that there are already default actions in PhotoshopCS3. We will create a new action for the following batch.

2. Use the open command in the file menu to open a picture, and we use this picture to build an action.

3. Click New in the Actions panel to open the New Action dialog box. In this dialog box, the name refers to the name of the established action, and we can give it a name so that we can find it in the action panel next time. Group refers to which action group to put the action into. We can arrange different kinds of actions in different groups for easy induction and search. Below, we can specify the function key for this action, and when we want to use it in the future, we can call it directly with the function key. We can also specify a color for the action to quickly find it in the action panel.

4. Give this action a name, called "zoom out"; Otherwise, click "Record" by default.

You can see that the "Start Recording" button turns red, and what we do will be recorded. Because we process a large number of photos in batches, we need to use a color matching method that can take care of the overall situation. We use the command Shift+Ctrl+L to adjust the image to automatic gradient, so that the brightness of the image will automatically turn on. When we batch process in the future, the computer will automatically execute the automatic gradient command for each picture, and we can see that there will be a "gradient" operation in the action panel, which means that the action panel records an operation.
