The thought of these delicious foods really makes people drool. For people now, Su Dongpo's love of food is a good thing, but for pigs, Su Dongpo is a nightmare figure.

Of course, he loves not only eating, but also cooking. According to what he says now, he is a qualified gourmet, and many of Su Dongpo's poems and paintings are also related to eating. It seems that as long as there is food, Su Dongpo's dissatisfaction with his career is nothing at all.

For example, Su Dongpo was demoted to Huangzhou, and he wrote such a poem:

Huangzhou good pork, price and other dirt. The rich refuse to eat, and the poor don't know how to cook. Slow down the fire, less water, and it will look good when the fire is full. Get up and play a bowl every day. It's full and I can't worry. -"pork fu"

In today's words, this poem is about Su Dongpo boasting that the pork in Huangzhou is good. Even if it is cheap, he can still eat enough. However, rich people refuse to eat, and people without money can't do it. This is not a problem for Su Dongpo at all. He also invented a new way to eat. When the fire is over, don't say how beautiful the meat is.

Needless to say, Su Dongpo is really good at eating.

Su Shi is good at eating and writing poems. He writes poetry when he is hungry, when he is full, and when he doesn't agree with a word. He was imprisoned for writing poems, and the first thing he did after he got out of prison was to write poems.

Su Dongpo is frivolous and has outstanding literary attainments. He felt invincible, so he hung a couplet at the door:

Know all the words in the world and read all the books in the world.

An old man saw it and thought the boy was crazy, so he took a book and asked him for knowledge. As a result, Su Dongpo couldn't answer, so he had to add four words in front of the couplet. What did he add? Let's take a look together.

Su Dongpo: On learning and accomplishment, I praise Su Dongpo as the best in the world. Of course, he is talented. Even his brother Su Zhe and his father Su Xun are talented. Three of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties came from the Su family. How can such a learned family not be admired?

Su Dongpo showed unusual cleverness from an early age, perhaps influenced by his father. He can write well at an early age and is a famous genius in the local area. Such an environment and his own ability make Su Dongpo very conceited. Think about it, too. Invincible is always lonely.

After Su Dongpo grew up, the problem of conceit still existed. One day, Su Dongpo drank a little too much, so he wrote a couplet and posted it on his doorstep.

The first part is: knowing all the words in the world;

The bottom line is: read all the books on earth.

When this couplet comes out, it really makes people lose their temper. People around you are speechless for this arrogant boy, but they are helpless. Who made him so talented? But then again, this couplet is really not just crazy. Even now, the editors of Xinhua Dictionary dare not claim to know all the words in the world.

Looking at the couplets on the door, Su Dongpo felt good about himself and didn't even feel anything wrong. Needless to say, without two brushes, I really can't make such a high profile, but there will always be outsiders in the world, and an old man can't stand Su Dongpo, who is known as the best in the world.

White-haired old man: There are books in the world. We only know that a drop of couplets hung in the sea for a few days, and Su Dongpo's couplets have also been circulated in several places. A few days later, a white-haired old man came to Su Dongpo's door with a book in his hand, saying that he had come to ask Su Dongpo for knowledge. Su Dongpo was not at all polite, and decisively took the book from the old man.

Meng circled as a result. Because of the words in this book, Su Dongpo didn't know anyone. Su Dongpo panicked and showed a very unnatural embarrassment. The old man smiled and pointed to the couplet on the door and said:

The words in the world, the books on the earth, I am just a drop in the ocean. ...

When the old man said this, Su Dongpo left trembling before he could react. Su Dongpo looked at the background of the old man and the couplets on the door, ashamed and unbounded. It took him a long time to wake up.

This couplet can't be pasted any more. Just when Su Dongpo wanted to tear it off, he thought of four words. Just before this couplet, he added two more, and this five-character couplet became a seven-character couplet:

The first couplet became: trying to understand all the words in the world;

The bottom line becomes: determined to read all the books on the earth.

Needless to say, with these four words, the meaning of this couplet has completely changed, from frivolous arrogance to self-motivated study, which has also attracted praise from neighbors.

From then on, Su Dongpo began to read modestly, read widely, worked tirelessly and persevered, and finally made amazing achievements in literature, poetry, calligraphy and painting, and became a generation of literary masters.

Chaoyun: A bachelor is talented, but his stomach is full of inappropriate anecdotes about Su Dongpo. Let's see another one. Su Dongpo has a concubine named Chaoyun. This person used to be a famous singer in West Lake, more than 20 years younger than Su Dongpo. It was Su Dongpo's talent and cooking that completely conquered this dusty woman.

Su Dongpo likes this princess very much. One day, Su Dongpo came home, touched his chubby belly after eating, and asked the people:

Tell me, what is in my stomach?

Anyone with a discerning eye can answer this question, and it is obviously a meal, but such a tacky answer is naturally unwilling to say, so a handmaid said:

It is full of articles.

This answer is good, but Su Dongpo is not satisfied. Another handmaid replied:

All knowledge.

Su Dongpo is still not satisfied. Finally, he looked at the cloud and said to it:

A bachelor's stomach is not suitable.

Su Dongpo laughed after listening. Since then, he also regarded Chaoyun as a confidant. Chaoyun's answer can be said to have poked Su Dongpo's heart. His stomach is really out of date, because the Wutai poetry case that almost killed Su Dongpo is because of his poems. He was accused of "fooling the imperial court and slandering the New Deal".

After Chaoyun's death, Su Dongpo was extremely sad and specially wrote a couplet for her:

Out of date, only Chaoyun can know me;

Playing the same old tune alone makes me miss you more every night.

Full of lovesickness, all in this couplet. Indeed, there were not many people who could understand Su Dongpo at that time, but Chaoyun was one. How could Su Dongpo let go easily?

The famous poet Yu Guangzhong once said:

Traveling, I don't want to talk to Li Bai, because he is irresponsible and has no sense of reality; I don't want to talk to Du Fu either, because he is too bitter, and I'm afraid he is too serious. Su Dongpo is very good. He is very interesting. We can be good friends.

Of course, following Su Dongpo, not to mention learning knowledge, can at least eat a lot of delicious food. Su Dongpo's life is also very bumpy, but every time he was exiled to a place, he seemed to be reborn, because he turned bad luck into appetite and life into a joke.

As long as there is food to eat, Su Dongpo will not panic. Su Dongpo won't forget to write poems as long as he has food to eat. Who doesn't want to be friends with him?
